Code Alert Quick Response Call System provides residents with: Immediate Event Notification The Quick Response Emergency Call System is a wireless nurse call system that offers residents the ability to summon assistance with the touch of a button or pull of a cord. This nurse call system is designed to allow resident independence, and to notify staff if assistance is needed. Multiple Wireless Transmitter Options Transmitters are available in various styles including pendant, pull cord, wall mount, open door and window alert, call cord, smoke detector, and universal. The transmitter signal is sent to a receiver that communicates with the Quick Response software. When the transmitter is activated, both audible and visual event indication is given. Once the transmitter alarm is activated to ensure the resident is attended to, the transmitter must be reset at the resident’s location. One Quick Response Wireless Call System accommodates thousands of transmitters, which allows entire campus environment coverage. Computer-based System In addition to the event, the Central Display Unit provides important resident information. Displayed on the screen at the nurse call station and on the optional pager is are the resident’s name, room number, building, and event time. A built-in history log maintains a record of each event, when it was received, and the time of reset. Additional resident information, such as medical history and an emergency contact list is available for immediate access. Resident records may be printed in the case of an emergency, or for permanent record. In the event of a computer malfunction or power loss, an optional Back-up Interface Console will continue to receive and page events until the computer is restored.
